HARD LUCK
One of Buster Keaton’s favourites of his two-reelers, this was missing for many years, and is now substantially restored. Jilted by his lover, Buster repeatedly tries, in vain, to kill himself. Landing a job at an exclusive sports club, he spends the rest of the film trying to master the arts of fishing, riding and diving, all with typically comic results.
